Team Khargone emerged as the champion of WR-II IRSM Badminton championship 2024 held at Lara from 25-27 April 2024. In this event team Sipat won the runner up trophy of this tournament while Korba and Lara both satisfied with third position. The winners of other categories are men's singles champion - Sh. Mayank Mishra from Khargone, women's singles champion -Ms. Shila Karma from Lara, mixed doubles champion was Ms. Renu Kumari & Mr. Bharat Negi from Sipat. Men's singles runner up was Sh. A Prakash Reddy from Korba, women's singles runner up was Ms. Neha Gupta from Sipat and Mixed doubles runner up was Ms. Shreya Roy and Sh. Vamshi from NTPC Korba. Shri Akhilesh Singh, HoP Lara presented the champion trophy and individual medals to players. On this occasion Sh. Rajeev Ranjan, GM (O&M), Sh. Ravi Shankar, GM (Project), Smt Sangeeta Singh, President (PMS), Sh Jakir Khan, AGM HR, HODs, members of sports council, employees were present.
